에서 태어났다.
1972년 앨범 "Simple Man"을 발표한 Lobo는 수록곡 가운데
'Don't Expect Me to Be Your Friend' 와
'I'd Love You To Want Me' 를 연이어 히트시켰는데,
'I'd Love You To Want Me'는
빌보드 싱글 차트 2위에 까지 랭크되는 히트를 기록했다.
Lobo는 스페인어로 늑대라는 뜻이랍니다.
미국 사람 같지 않은 얼굴과 긴 생머리에서 힌트를 얻을 수 있듯이,
인디언 혈통을 지닌 인물이기도 합니다.
